       This building for protecting 28 parked cars from weather elements was constructed in 1986. Original buildings occupying this space since before the turn of the century contained the kitchen, Sisters' living quarters, laundry, and tailor shop; all of which have been relocated. The basement area provided excellent facilities for wine processing and storage. Up until the time before the mid-fifties, St. Charles cultivated a vineyard for producing grape wine for altar and table use.
